Our support includes:
Advocacy-Based Counseling
The NW Network offers emergency and ongoing advocacy-based counseling centered on survivors’ choices and self-determination. We work to create a supportive space for survivors to decrease isolation, understand the dynamics of abuse, heal from trauma, increase skills and build self-esteem on the road to creating the lives and relationships they want.
Safety and Support Planning
We understand that survivors are the experts of their own experience. Advocates offer survivors consistent, ongoing support to build skills, choices and strategies to reduce harm, as well as rebuild connections to friends, family and community.
Basic Legal Advocacy
Advocates can help you think through options and support you in navigating complex legal systems. We work to get survivors connected to skilled, LGBT-competent legal resources when necessary.
Resources and Referrals
From housing, food banks and legal assistance to mental health programs and LGBT social support groups, NW Network advocates connect survivors and their families with the resources that meet their unique needs.
WE ARE UNFORTUNATELY NOT OFFERRING SUPPORT GROUPS AT THIS TIME.
